Resurfacing
I thought I'd come back and tell you about some interesting things I saw. So, I go by this strip mall with maybe four businesses. The first thing I notice is a huge sign for "Barstools." The next thing is a sign for "Mahboob." I don't know what Mahboob sells, but hey, it's a catchy name. I think Barstools is pretty straightforward. I bet if they combined businesses, they would need a bigger parking lot. I also saw a kind of sandwich-board promotions guy by another strip mall, except this guy had a tiny sign flopping all around and he was riding an exercise bike. I have no idea what he was apparently promoting, but he looked goofy in his sleeveless shirt and nylon pants, apparently having trouble pedaling and holding up his tiny sign.
I guess I last posted 137 days ago. Boooooo. FYI, here are some things related to 137 days:
A northeastern lady's path towards "shredding" her weight.
New York state’s Medicaid program takes that long to pay doctors.
Cartier's trip to discover Canada!
The decolonization history of Belize.
...One way you can tell we're in a recession: I'm buying pre-ground coffee in steel cans. So I started with Yuban the other week. Now, I'm onto Chock Full O'Nuts, which is apparently "New York's Coffee" and "heavenly coffee." It's pretty good. Especially since it was less than four bucks and some bags o beans are hitting well past nine bucks. Even 8 O'clock Coffee has busted past five bucks. I probably wouldn't have tried Chock Full O'Nuts if it was called Nuts Full O'Chalk. Or maybe I would. Pass the sugar please.
